Blow dryer is heavy and doesnt get hot at all just gets to a warm temperature and will definitely leave your hair frizzy if you dont put enough tention while drying your hair. I would rather spend my money on babybliss blowers

I have had my Buttercup for over 12 years and it is still working just as well as it did the day I bought it! It dries quickly and leaves my hair shiny. I love the cold shot! The price hasn't gone up, I'm surprised! This has lasted so much better than the dryer set I paid 599 for that didn't last a year! I love, love, love my Buttercup!
Love this. It's actually my second one.

This lasted less than a year, using it approximately 3 times a week. Not worth the $$.

I love this dryer. I love the cold shot, the attachments, and it has lasted a long time and I feel I got my $$ worth out of it.
Not worth it.

Lasted less then a year and then broke. Got it replaced and that one too broke a little after a year when used on high. Youre better off with a generic brand blow dryer that youll know will last you at least 2 years than paying this much. Do not recommend.
Excellent sturdy blow drier.

I have had my buttercup blow drier for 9 years!! i bought my home 9 years ago and invested in a good blow drier at the same time. I have dropped it many times and thought well this is finally it but instead its still running strong. I went from blow drying my hair for 20 minutes down to 6. I just bought another one to keep in the extra bathroom.
Not Worth the Money!

I loved my Drybar Buttercup Blow Dryer, but it stopped working after ten months of purchasing. I have had cheaper hair dryers lasting 5-7 years. I would not recommend this product.

I have had this blow dryer for over 8 years and it still works perfectly. Its a little heavy. Thats the only con. If you have really long hair you know what I am talking about lol. I let my hair air dry for at least 30 minutes and it only takes about 10 minutes to blow out straight. Its easy to clean and you can use pretty much any diffuser attachment. You're not locked into only purchasing their brand attachments since it has a standard nozzle.
Breaks way too soon

This blow dryer completely stopped working on me which is such a shame for the price. It's also extremely heavy to hold

I've had this blow drier for 8 years. It is heavy. That is the one downfall. But I love it. I have curly hair and it used to take me 20-25 minutes to blow dry my hair. It went down to 6 with this blow drier. after 8 years it is still running strong. And I've even dropped it multiple times (not recommending that but I have ). I'm buying my second. for my second bathroom.

I got this dryer for Mothers Day 23. The heating element went bad 3 mos later. I took it back and got another one. By December the motor had completely stopped. I could not get it repaired. I will never buy another DryBar product!
I would give zero stars if I could

This is my second Drybar blow dryer as the first one was faulty within the first 2 weeks. This second one lasted much longer but the other day, the inside got red hot and the air stopped flowing and flames came out. Will never buy a Drybar again.
