Beast of a Card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 3060 Ti and the performance difference is night and day. Before I could only run games at medium-high settings at 1080p, now I'm regularly getting at least 100 fps on max settings with ray tracing enabled, at 1440p to boot, even without DLSS or any upscaling enabled. Great part is that the card runs super quiet with zero coil whine, AND almost never cracks 60 °C. During normal everyday use (non gaming), the fans will never spin up and temps stay between 39-45 °C. The fans only start running when a game is launched, and temperatures will usually spike to around 55 °C or less, and stay there. This is with most games at max settings with ray tracing enabled (Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 4, Dying Light 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Halo Infinite, etc.). Sometimes temps will break the 60° mark if settings are super cranked up and there's a lot going on, but I haven't seen it often. Granted my large case definitely helps with airflow, but just goes to show that NVIDIA's stock cooler does a great job at keeping temps down, all the while having a fantastic design and high quality construction. For the price, this card only performs marginally better than the 4080 on paper, but at a $200 discount. For right at $1,000, this card is a great value for the performance you get, especially compared to similarly priced cards from competitors. For anyone worried about the melting 16 pin connector issue, I have had zero issues thus far using NVIDIA's included "octopus" adapter. Firmly pushing the connector into the slot until it clips, and making sure that the wires are not bent at an extreme angle will ensure that there is a solid connection. I've only ever seen this issue on the 4090 anyway, so anyone buying this card shouldn't have to worry. The tri-slot width of this card makes it a monster in regards to size. Personally, my case is very large, so it fits very nicely and fills a lot of empty space. Anyone with a smaller case, such as micro ATX or mini ITX, should definitely measure before buying. Also, though the card is large and quite hefty, there is little to no sag. Firmly tightening the 3 screws that mount it to the case makes it very rigid, and I haven't had to use a GPU stand to hold it up. To summarize, this card is a very sizable upgrade from a 3060 Ti at a great price for the performance you get compared to competitors. It looks sleek and modern, and keeps silent and cool. I can confidently say this is the best investment I've ever made thus far in regards to my PC!

Beast of a GPU
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4080 needed a refresh after coming in at 1199 initially. The 4080S changed the aesthetic for the better and drops the price by $200 while improving performance between 1-4%. There are better value picks out there but if you have the cash you for this you won’t be disappointed. I’ve had this since June and it’s generally overkill for 1440p and your best bet in 4K without dropping $1700 on a 4090. Runs really cool but with very faint coil whine. DLSS makes running all games at 4K a breeze.

Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from the RTX 2070 Super to the RTX 4080 Super Founders Edition has completely transformed my gaming experience with a 2K 360Hz monitor. The performance is phenomenal, delivering ultra settings and sky-high frame rates that make competitive gaming buttery smooth and incredibly responsive. Ray tracing with DLSS ensures top-tier visuals without compromising performance. The card stays cool and quiet, even during long sessions, letting me stay fully immersed in every game. For anyone serious about gaming, this upgrade is an absolute game-changer.

Gorgeous but has some coil whine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It looks great and has performed admirably at 4k. I've been averaging just over 100fps in the games I play with DLSS usually set to quality or balanced. Newer AAA games will probably bring it down more, but as long as I'm over 60fps, I'm happy. The new Blackwell GPU's are looking to be a bit of a disappointment, so I don't regret getting this card so late in the cycle. It's way quieter and cooler than my 3080 12gb was. The 4080's currently averaging around 62C when gaming in a Meshify C with a Ryzen 5600. The one complaint I have is that the coil whine on this card is some of the worst I've ever heard on a desktop GPU. Luckily, I can't hear it over my headphones when gaming at least, and I'm going to try swapping out my PSU when I move to a new case to see if that helps since my current one is pretty old.

Premium Stealth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My monitor is a Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor - S2722DGM, 68.58cm (27.0"), VA,165Hz,1ms (MPRT), FreeSync Premium and my previous video card was an Intel A770, which is a nice mid level card, but it cannot run the monitor on ultra settings and hit 144Hz. -Enter the 4080 Super This card is a significant improvement over the A770 with 10W idle, 32C idle and 67C fully loaded running ultra settings, 1440p AND 144Hz. This card is very nice and the cooler is overbuilt since it shares the 4090 RTX design which makes more heat. I like the card very much, however the price is very much out of reach and finding it in stock at MSRP is not easy. If you do get a chance to own this card, pricing aside, it's a very nice product that works great at stock settings while running ALL of the eye candy on maximum settings. I won't take off a point for the LED lights even though I have a blacked-out case. Also, if you have a newer PSU, use the 12VHPWR cable and make sure you do it correctly the first time; measure twice, cut once; 1000USD is an expensive mistake for not ensuring proper seating! Lastly, this GPU is paired with an undervolted and overclocked (Intel Extreme Tuning Utility) 14700K to get the highest FPS possible. Couple the CPU with an anti-bending frame and a carbon thermal sheet for zero maintenance and let er' rip! My prior system was an i5-2500K (2nd Gen) using a 1070Ti so the jump was huge coming from 1080p @ 60 FPS, 16GB DDR3 1660MHz RAM w/ a 400MB/s SATA III SSD to 1440p @ 144 FPS, 32GB DDR5 6000 RAM w/ a 7000MB/s NVMe M.2 SSD.

Obsidian Cinder Block of Beauty
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is sleek and gorgeous. I upgraded from a 3080ti, and the 4080 super handles everything I throw at it without even breaking a sweat. I’ve yet to see it get above 55°C under heavy load with maxed out settings. My old card was very loud under pressure, and this one is absolutely silent to the point of wondering if the fans had actually kicked in. I would absolutely recommend this card to anyone that plays in 1440p or higher. I have a feeling it will be the new gold standard for any sensible player out there for a good, long while.

Absolute Beast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card shreds through anything you throw at it. Using it for 1440p max settings RT with the 7800x3D and it runs flawless. Not to mention it looks wicked in all black. Also really loved the box it came in. Says a lot about Nvidia that they designed a custom box for these to ship in. That being said though its not the greatest value even with the reduced price but if youve got the scratch, I highly recommend this card.

Q: QuestionIs there any chance of getting these at release, or will they sellout instantly?
Asked by ChristAlmighty.
- A:Answer Bots are allowed to shop on Bestbuy. They do nothing to stop them. You can not apply your information before they are all bought up. Good Luck. PS: BestBuy has technology to stop these purchases but do nothing because as long as they sell they dont care to who!
Answered by KILLAmanJARRO
Q: QuestionSold out in 4 minutes 6:00AM PST. I logged in at 6:02, refreshed, waited it was 6:03, I searched it up, 6:04am they are out of stock. Did bots really buy this up that fast? BestBuy corporation allowed bots to swipe these from actual humans? in 2024?
Asked by LukeP.
- A:Answer Yes, I had one in my cart and selected in store pickup then it said there was no in store pickup option so I then went with ship to me and then it removed it from my cart. The entire thing is just a joke BestBuy just allows the bots to buy it out and real customers are left with nothing even if they managed to get it into their carts. Total Joke.

Q: QuestionWhy does this card not have the notify me option? Just says sold out.
Asked by Geforce.
- A:Answer Because Worst Buy still hasn't figured out how to create a simple wait list in 2024 and makes the humans jump through hoops instead of the bots. Not to mention they don't know the definitions of "improve" "guarantee" "hold" or how long 10 minutes actually is.
Answered by SupportCircuitCity
Q: QuestionHow do I reserve one for myself? When will they be back in stock?
Asked by Anchel.
- A:Answer you cant, bots will buy instantly even though they have "revised guidelines"

Q: QuestionI was put in line to add this item to my cart. After a few seconds it put it in my cart, but wouldn't let me checkout!! Why would they even allow me to add it if they are already sold out.
Asked by Nik.
- A:Answer This also happened to me. I thought they guaranteed the item to stay in our cart for 10 minutes to finalize the order. That did not happen. It was in my cart I kept hitting checkout but no luck. 30 seconds later it said item is not available. This ordering system needs a lot of work to be reliable.

Q: QuestionThis is a feedback. I had the Card in my cart and I was unable to check out. I thought it would stay in my cart for 10 minutes as the timer started the count down. I hit check out as fast as I could over and over with no luck. Please fix this. Thanks.
Asked by BlackSpid3r.
- A:Answer I recommend buying them directly from the Nvidia shop on their website. Once 6am hit, they posted the other brands before posting the "Founder" version. But after another minute they did, and they stayed avaliable for "Add to Cart" for an additional 20 minutes or so. Bestbuy will not fix the problem, they make their money either way. Buy directly from Nvidia.
