Dont buy this, does not work with google home

I have other Cync products, so I was familiar with the app and the interface. Purchased two and used one for a fan and one for plant lights that turns on and off at sunrise and sunset. Alexa recognized the new plugs as soon as they were installed.

Q: QuestionFor WiFi is 2.4GHz required, or is it compatible with 5GHz? Why isn't such important information mentioned in the description or specifications? GE website merely says "Wireless Connectivity WIFIBLE", i.e. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
